A. EFAD Publication Rules
v Articles and studies that are planned to be sent to KMU EFAD Journal should not have been published or published before.
v KMU Journal of the Faculty of Letters (EFAD) publishes original research, original reviews, extended papers, original translations, book critiques and letters to the editor, primarily in the social and human sciences.
v The studies sent to KMU Journal of Literature (EFAD) are examined carefully and objectively by the editorial group in the first stage. If the manuscripts submitted to EFAD do not comply with the spelling rules, the editorial group may reject the manuscripts directly. If the manuscripts are prepared in accordance with the publication and writing rules of EFAD, they are sent to three referees using the “double blind” technique. After at least two referees of the three referees submit a positive report, the studies are published in the relevant issues after the necessary arrangements have been made.
v In accordance with the “double blind leme technique, the name and institution information of the authors is removed from the original text and sent to the referees who are experts in their fields. The referee information is not shared with the authors and the author information is not shared with the referees under any circumstances.
v The evaluation process of the referees is determined as maximum 30 days. Sent to the referee for evaluation; however, for the articles without any return, an arbitrator is appointed again and the arbitrator process is re-started for the study. The referee who does not evaluate the work sent to him / her within the given time period is evaluated by the journal management.
v The current page should be indicated as a footnote at the bottom of the first page of the studies prepared by MS or PhD theses supported by an institution or organization sent to KMU Journal of Literature Faculty (EFAD).
v When the articles submitted to KMU Journal of Literature Faculty (EFAD) are sent to the authors for the necessary corrections after the referee process, the author cannot add or subtract the size of the original text except for the referees' suggestions.
v The final manuscripts sent to KMU Journal of Literature Faculty (EFAD) and approved for publication in accordance with the referees' suggestions are sent back to the author for review. After the control of the author, the works of the referee are completed based on the date of arrival.
v All rights of articles submitted to KMU Journal of Literature Faculty (EFAD) are deemed to have been transferred to the journal by the author. The author is not required to provide a signature and a certificate of approval. The works uploaded to the system are transferred to EFAD with all rights.
v The responsibility (scientific ethics, plagiarism, etc.) of articles submitted to KMU Journal of Literature Faculty (EFAD) belongs to the author or authors unilaterally. EFAD cannot be put under any obligation.
v The articles sent to KMU Journal of Literature (EFAD) are screened with plagiarism detection programs called T iThenticate ”or it Turnitin”. In cases where plagiarism is exceeded, the Editorial group has the authority to make necessary sanctions. With this justification, studies can be rejected.
v Please note that works that do not comply with the rules mentioned above will not be considered under any circumstances.

B. EFAD Writing and Bibliography Rules
The rules of bibliography, imprint, in-text submission and quotation used in Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Faculty of Literature Journal (EFAD) have been prepared based on the APA American Psychological Association (APA) system. For more information and writing rules, visit the APA website (http://www.apastyle.org).
v Articles to be sent to the journal are in A4 size in Word file; 2 cm from the top. and 1.5 cm from the bottom. 1.5 cm from the left and right. should be prepared.
v Articles should be written in Times New Roman font and single spaced. The title of the manuscript (Turkish and English) should be short and not exceeding 12 words, and the initials of the words should be written in capital letters, 12 points and bold.
v Author names should be left blank after the title of the article; my family work should be written in a big way. Author names should be placed aligned to the right side of the page. Academic titles and other issues should be indicated in the footnote in 8 font size (Ex: Title, University name, faculty name, department name, e-mail or (Institution Name, Department Name, e-mail).
v First level headings should be 12 pt, bold and flat, and the first letter of each word should be capitalized. In the articles, the subject of the problem / study should be clearly stated in the introduction. The introduction should be followed by method, findings (if any), comment / discussion and conclusion. There may be different sections according to the fields. All other sections in the text should be written in 12 point and single line spacing without distorting formatting.
v Second-level subtitles should be written in bold and italic with 11 pt.
v Third-level subheadings should be written in lowercase, italic and 10 points, with the first letters of the words uppercase. The fourth level subheadings should be written in lowercase, italic and 10 pt, with the first letter capitalized, and a “tab” should start from the inside.
v Tables within the manuscript should be formatted as required by their content, the table title should be numbered, above the table and centered.
v Subheadings should not be used in the result section; If desired, the items can be sorted.
General Guidelines for Authors to Send Articles to the Journal
v If the number of authors is more than five, the names of the first five authors should be cited, and the words “and others an should be used after the fifth author.
v If the publication date of a study cannot be found, the date of the last copyright was given; If the date cannot be found in any way, the abbreviation “t.y. gelen, which means yok no date”, should be used.
v In the bibliography section, after the name of the author, the abbreviation (Ed.) should be used instead of the editor (s) and (Ed.).
v In the bibliography section, the names of journals and books should be written in italics without being abbreviated.
v In the bibliography section, the proceedings should be stated as “the book, and the proceedings from the proceedings should be mentioned as the“ book chapter..
v In the bibliography section, information such as encyclopedia, dictionary, biography etc. should be written as bir a chapter in a book için.
v In the bibliography section, encyclopedia, dictionary, biography and so on. If the author of the articles is not known in the references, an entry should be made using the item name.
v In the theses to be used in the bibliography section, the words “master's thesis”, “doctoral thesis” or yeter proficiency thesis in art sonra must be used after the name of the thesis. The name of the university or institution from which the degree is obtained must be indicated.
v In the bibliography section, the entry of the imprint in the laws and regulations should be made with the name of the law. After the name of the law, the date of adoption of the law (in years only) and the date of publication of the law (in days, months, years) should be indicated in brackets.
v The bibliography section should provide basic information on electronic resources as well as access date and access address information; For e-sources, the last update date should be specified as the publication date.
v In the bibliography section, personal interviews such as letters, e-mails and telephone calls do not need to be included in the bibliography, and references should be cited in the text.
