Publication Ethics
Ethical standard for publication exist for the authors to receive credit for their ideas, and ensure the public trust in the scientific findings and high- quality scientific writing.
IIMRJ expect all parties to commit to these publication ethics. The Journal do not tolerate plagiarism or other unethical behavior and will remove any manuscript that does not meet these standards. The relevant duties and expectations of authors set out below:
Reporting standards:
The authors of the original articles should present the accurate information of the work performed as well as the precise discussion for analysis and significance. The paper should contain the complete details of references that allowed others to replicate the articles.
Originality and Plagiarism:
Plagiarism is the use or stealing of others published and unpublished ideas or other original or intellectual property without permission, or attribution, and presenting them as new and innovative rather than derived from an existing source. IIMRJ seriously takes issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism or other breaches of best practice in publication. The IIMRJ seek to protect the rights of all authors, and always investigate claims of plagiarism or misuse of published articles. Equally, the Editorial Board aim to protect the reputation of the journal against malpractice. The submitted paper was checked with duplication-checking software. In case that the IIMRJ found to have plagiarized work without proper attribution or used the third – party copyright materials without permission or lack of acknowledgment, or where the authorship of the paper was contested, the Board Committee reserve the rights to take action but not limited to:

Publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction);

Retracting the article; taking up the matter with the head of department or dean of the author’s institution and/or relevant academic bodies or societies;

Taking appropriate legal action.
The papers submitted to IIMRJ are being processed in Plagiarism Detection Software using Turnitin with an allowable similarity index of less than 15%.
Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication:
The authors should not publish the same manuscripts in more than one journal or conferences. This constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
Acknowledgment of Sources:
The authors should recognize the works or ideas of others adequately. The authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
Authorship of the Paper:
The creation of a paper should typically include the names of all people who have made a significant contribution to the research content, and it is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that each has agreed to have his or her name included as an author. Should an author decline to be associated with the paper, the other authors need to reach an agreement with the individual on the extent of acknowledgment. All the people who made a significant contribution to the study should be included as co-authors.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest:
The authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that influence the external factors that might be construed to affect the results or interpretation of their paper. The authors should disclose all sources of financial support for the project. The Ethical standards in academic publishing exist to avoid and deal with conflicts of interest, and the field continues to develop new standards
Fundamental errors in published works:
If the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his or her published work, it is the author obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher to retract or correct the paper. If there are documented violations of any of the policies as mentioned above in any journal, regardless of whether or not the violations occurred in IIMRJ Journal, the immediate rejection of the infringing manuscript will be applied.
