Publication Ethics
All parties involved in the process of publishing this scientific journal namely the manager, editor, reviewer, and author fully comply with and comply with the policies and principles of the scientific publication ethics code. The statement of ethics of this scientific publication is based on the Head Regulation of LIPI No. 5 of 2014 on the Code of Ethics of Scientific Publication, which essentially upholds three ethical values in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, i.e. free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Justice, i.e. grant authorship rights to those who are entitled to be authors/ authors; and (iii) Honesty, i.e. free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publication.
Journal Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Determine journal name, scientific scope, scaling, and accreditation if needed.
Determine the membership of the board of editors.
Define relationships between publishers, editors, bestari partners, and others in a contract.
Appreciate confidential things, whether for contributing researchers, authors, editors, or bestari partners.
Apply norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
Review journal policies and communicate them to authors, editors, bestari partners, and readers.
Make code guides behave for editors and bestari partners.
Publish journals regularly.
Ensuring the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publishing.
Build a network of cooperation and marketing.
Preparing licensing and other aspects of legality.
Editor's Duties and Responsibilities
Bringing together the needs of readers and authors,
Seeking to improve the quality of publication on an ongoing basis,
Implement processes to ensure the quality of published papers,
Promoting free speech objectively,
Maintaining the integrity of the author's academic track record,
Submit corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies where necessary,
Responsible for the style and format of the paper, while the content and all statements in the paper are the responsibility of the author,
Actively ask for the opinions of authors, readers, bestari partners, and members of the editor's board to improve the quality of publications,
Encouraging the assessment of journals in the event of findings,
Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethics Clearance form already approved by the Ethics Commission,
Support initiatives to educate researchers about the ethics of publication,
Review the effect of the issue policy on the attitudes of authors and bestari partners and correct them to increase responsibility and minimize errors,
Have an open mind to new opinions or views of others that may conflict with personal opinions,
Do not retain the opinions of themselves, authors or third parties that may result in un objective decisions,
Encourage authors to make improvements to the paper until it is publication-worthy.
Bestari Partner's Duties and Responsibilities
It is the duty of the editor to study the paper and submit the results of the study to the editor, as the material determining the feasibility of a paper to be published.
The study may not conduct a study of the paper involving itself, either directly or indirectly
Maintain author privacy by not disseminating corrections, suggestions, and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, feedback, and recommendations
Encourage authors to make paper improvements
Review the repaired paper in accordance with the specified standards.
The paper is studied in a timely way according to the context of the publication based on scientific rules (data collection methods, author legality, conclusions, etc.).
Author's Duties and Responsibilities
Make sure that those on the author list meet the criteria as authors.
Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article including its methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
State the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly.
Explaining limitations in research
Respond to comments made by bestari partners professionally and on time.
Inform the editor if he will re-create his paper.
Make a statement that the submitted paper for publication is original, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of submiting to another publisher.
