||RISTI (Iberian Journal of Information Systems and Technologies) is a printed and online journal, which promote the information systems and technologies scientific field. RISTI was created in 2008. Articles are welcome on research, practice, experience and current issues. It bridges the gap between the theoretical background and the application of information technology within organizations. The articles are written by researchers in both academic and professional areas, aiming a contribution sharing for the evolution of the specific area and society.
RISTI stimulates important discussions. The journal focuses on empirical research, exploratory research and case studies. The Editorial line recommends that articles should address technology from managers', users' and expert's point of view, as well as the role of technology in society.
The submitted articles must have relevant and up-to-date findings and results. Articles reviewed for publishing must have a concise and objective language, with internal coherence.
RISTI encourages submissions that integrate technological disciplines with social, contextual and management issues based on research using appropriate research methods.
Authors must state that their work had not been submitted or published elsewhere. The articles must respect the editorial line. Articles submitted to RISTI for publishing will be reviewed by the Editor and double-blind refereed by members of the scientific board. In all instances, a copy of the referees' comments is sent to the authors. For publication, the article will be orthographically revised. The average time for the process is estimated in two to four months.
The journal is published four times a year.
Its mission is to publish significant research, relevant to the field of Information Systems and Technologies in the organizations and society.
