1 PHASE DIAGRAM OF THE SnSb2Te4–SnBi2Te4 SYSTEM AND SOME PROPERTIES OF THE SnSb2-xBixTe4 SOLID SOLUTIONS     , A.E.Seidzade,  M.B.Babanly  
Using differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction technique phase equilibria in the SnSb2Te4–SnBi2Te4 system were investigated and its T–x diagram was constructed. The system is non-quasibinary due to the incongruent melting of the starting ternary compounds, but it is stable below solidus. The system characterized by a continuous series of substitutional solid solutions with tetradimite-like hexagonal structure. The crystal lattice parameters are a linear function of the composition. Liquidus consists of one curve corresponding to the primary crystallization of solid solutions based on the SnTe compound (α-phase), which interacts with the liquid phase by peritectic reaction (L+ α↔γ) and forms solid solutions based on the SnSb2Te4 and SnBi2Te4 compounds.  According to the results of powder diffraction patterns, the lattice parameters are determined. 2 TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES OF EXTRUSION OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS BASED ON MIXTURES OF HIGH AND LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE  AND MINERAL FILLERS   , N.T.Kakhramanov, F.A.Mustafayeva, Kh.V.Allakhverdiyeva
The results of the study of the optimal mode of extrusion of composite materials based on mixtures of high-density   and low density polyethylene  with various mineral fillers and the selection of the optimal mode of this process  are presented. As fillers, montmorillonite, bentonite, aluminum hydroxide, as well as their paired mixtures based on montmorillonite + aluminum hydroxide and bentonite + aluminum hydroxide were used. It was established that the loading of fillers into the composition of a polymer mixture of  low density polyethylene  + 50 mass.% highdensity  significantly affects the optimal technological mode of their processing. The loading of montmorillonite and bentonite into the composition of the polymer mixture is accompanied by the preservation of the melt flow index at a sufficiently high level. With the loading of aluminum hydroxide, there is a noticeable deterioration in the rheological characteristics of the composites
3 SYNTHESIS OF DIETHYL 8-(DIALKILAMINO)-6-OXO-3-(2-FURIL)-2,4-DICYANOBICYCLO[3.2.1]OCTANE-2,4-DICARBOXYLATES   , A.I.Ismiyev  
As a result of research it was established that the reaction of furfural with secondary amines and ethyl cyanoacetate gave previously unkown diethyl esters of 8-(dialkylamino)-6-oxo-3-(2-furil)-2,4-dicyanobicyclo[3.2.1]octane-2,4-di­car­boxylates. Thus,  discovered a radically new approach to constructing the bicyclo[3.2.1]octane system, which involves a cascade reaction between furfural and ethyl cyanoacetate in the presence of secondary amines. Structure of all synthesized compounds confirmed by modern physical methods of analysis. By the method of XRD analysis  the stereo orientation of substituents in the bicyclic framework is established

The article presents the results of studies for revealing the basic laws of the surface tension dependence processes of aqueous solutions of 1-methylene-(3-allyl-2-hydroxy-5(octyl-2)phenyl)piperidinium chloride on aqueous solution–air and an aqueous solution–kerosene boundary depending on structure and concentration. Adsorption conditions were determined, critical micelle formation constants were calculated, and conclusions regarding the possibility of their use as a surfactant were drawn

7 LASER PROPERTIES OF GLASS (Ga2S3)0.70(La2S3)0.25(Nd2S3)0.0 , A.S.Abdullayeva  
Absorption spectrum of a violet (Ga2S3)0.70(La2S3)0.25(Nd2S3)0.05 glass found from a glass formation region in quasi-ternary system La2S3–Ga2S3–Nd2S3 using physical and chemical analysis methods was taken in a visible or close  to IR-region at 300 K. Spectrum covers 0.5÷8 mkm wavelength. Relevant radiation bonds of 2H9̸̸2, 4F5̸2  levels fall to 0.815 and 0.890 mkm wavelength. Laser radiation with the peak corresponding to 1.08 mkm wavelength is related to transition 4F3̸2→4I11̸2 . The change of dn/dT temperature index and high thermal widening in glasses increases optical properties. This is directly observed during joining of He/Ne IR laser group into Ti:sapphire group. When Ti:sapphire laser is adjusted to absorption frequency of neodymium the glass behaves as a strong lens for He/Ne laser group. Unlike relevant crystalline matrixes laser properties of Nd3+ion is weaker in (Ga2S3)0.70(La2S3)0.25(Nd2S3)0.05 glass. This is related to a higher radiation loss in glasses. But quality of laser can be increased due to optimum concentration of an activator and length of a sample

Mixed-ligand complexes of cobalt(II) with hydroxythiophenols (OP) {2-hydroxythiophenol (HTP) and its derivatives (2-hydroxy-5-aminthiophenol (HATP), 4-hydroxy-3-thiolsulfonic acid (HTSA), 4-hydroxy-3-thiolbenzoic acid (HTBA), 4-Nitro-2-hydroxythio­phenol (HNTP)} in the presence of hydrophobic amines (Am) have been studied by spectro­photometric methods. Extraction of mixed ligand complexes is maximal at pH 3.6-6.3. The optimum conditions for the formation and extraction of mixed-ligand compounds have been found and the ratios of components the complexes have been determined. The Beer’s law was applicable in the range of 0.05–3.2 μg/ml. The effect of foreign ions and reagents on the ex­traction was studied. The new method is free from common interferences. A procedure has been developed for extraction – spectrophotometric determination of cobalt in different objects
9 STUDY OF THE SURFACE PROPERTIES OF MINERALS IN THE COMPOSITION OF TAILS OF DASHKESAN IRON ORES   , A.A.Gulieva  
Physico-chemical analysis methods investigated the oxidation and changes in the surface properties of minerals that are part of the tailings obtained from the iron ores of the Dashkesan mining and smelting combine. The results of laboratory studies that simulate heap leaching of non-ferrous metals from these wastes are presented. It is shown that sulfuric acid processing of tailings obtained from iron ores improves the properties of percolation materials and increases the percentage yield of non-ferrous metals in solution
10 NOVEL VARIABLE PHASES IN THE QUATERNARY Pb–Bi–Te–Se SYSTEM ALONG THE PbBi2Te4–²PbBi2Se4² ISOPLETH SECTION   , Z.S.Aliev  
The phase eqilibria in the Pb–Bi–Te–Se quaternary system along the PbBi2Te4–²PbBi2Se4² isopleth section was investigated experimentally using differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction analyses of the equilibrated alloys. It was shown that the system is non-quasi-binary one and featured by the formation of the tetradymite-type solid solutions based on the PbBi2Te4 in the wide range of concentration. The system has a more complex phase equilibria scheme that comes from its host reciprocal PbTe–PbSe–Bi2Se3–Bi2Te3 system. One can see that, in order to reveal the phase equilibria scheme and understand the crystallization scheme, reactions types etc., the thorough investigation of the entire pointed reciprocal PbTe–PbSe–Bi2Se3–Bi2Te3 system is very important
