|2 MORPHOMETRIC AND LAND RESOURCE ANALYSIS USING REMOTE SENSING AND GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM- A CASE STUDY IN AGARGAON WATERSHED NEAR NAGPUR, MAHARASHTRA, Ramprasad Kundu, Abhisek Chakrabarty
The present investigation has been carried out in Agargaon watershed of Wardha and Nagpur district of Maharashtra to characterize and to prioritize it for conservation and management using remote sensing and GIS techniques. The watershed has been prioritized by adopting two methods viz. compound morphometric parameters and sediment yield index model. The study of morphometric parameters viz. circularity and elongation ratios show that all the sub-watersheds have close to circular shape. The highest bifurcation ratio 9.0 in ws6 suggesting a strong structural control on the drainage. Based on compound morphometric parameter values sub-watersheds have been grouped into four priority class. The highest priority is given to the sub-watersheds ws3 and ws4 where as the sub-watersheds ws1 and ws7 receive lowest priority with compound parameter values 4.75 and 5.63 respectively. Various thematic maps are generated by using IRS– P6 LISS-IV data and SOI Toposheet and those maps are intersected under GIS environment to prepare Erosion Intensity Unit (EIU) map required for to calculate sediment yield indices. The watersheds have been grouped in four priority class based on SYI values. The sub-watersheds ws6 and ws7 receive lowest priority class where as ws3 receives the highest priority for conservation.

|4 AN OVERVIEW ON RECENT DEVELOPMENT OF RFID TECHNOLOGY IN INDIA, Saurabh Tege, Mukesh Kumar Lohar
In this paper, an attempt has been made to throw the lights on the remarkable presence of the Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and its application and benefits in today’s perspective. RFID is really efficient and detects easily quantity, variety and proper information which reduces queues, decrease repeatable tasks, extend internal security, procure collection, lower the cost and raise efficiency of inventory management and arrangement. The practically cost effective implication use of this technology is in transportation/distribution, industrial, security and access control, nuclear plant system, airport security, animal identification, automated library system, healthcare, digital card mail, toy industry, economic sectors such as retail sector, commercial sector, healthcare services, checkpoint system and toll road control. A better management system is related to broad understanding of the technologies implemented in various sectors and sufficient literature review o the RFID technology is provided including supply chain system and its appropriateness are discussed. The study provides concerning point of future research, facilities and knowledge concerning role of the RFID technology adoption
|5 A Review on the online tools for the effective management of the engineering projects, R. Surya Kiran
Purpose: There is a need to develop new and innovative methods for the STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering and Medical to ensure the very best results for the Owners /Clients /Customers /Users and in this regard now-a-days online calculators play a very crucial role altogether. This research paper makes the way into such an on-line study. Approach: The approach that was involved for this paper was the collection of the necessary web-links for the solution of the various problems/questions which normally involve with the time and the cost as the major constraints. Findings: From the solutions /resolutions and the dissolutions that were found, this could be concluded that this methodology could very well remove the time and the cost constraints altogether. Implications: This online research paper calls for the study on the bonding of the Six Sigma with the Service Quality for the Engineering Project Management. Originality: This research paper which is a completely an on-line one could proceed towards the UN-MANNED automation for the SYSTEMS Management.
|6 Effects of thermal diffusion and diffusion thermo on MHD combined convection and mass transfer past a vertical porous plate embedded in a porous medium with heat generation, thermal radiation, nth order chemical reaction and viscous dissipation, AW Ogunsola, PO Olanrewaju, FI Alao, R Osinowo, OJ Fenuga
This paper focuses on the effects of Soret, Dufour, heat generation, radiation, order of chemical reaction and viscous dissipation on a steady combined free - force convective and mass transfer f low of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting and radiating fluid over an isothermal semi - infinite vertical porous flat plate embedded in a porous medium. The partial differential equations governing the problem have been transformed by a similar ity transformation into a system of ordinary differential equations which are solved numerically by using the sixth - order of Runge - Kutta technique alongside with shooting method. The behavior of the velocity, temperature, concentration, skin - friction coeff icient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number for variations in the governing thermo physical embedded parameters are computed, analyzed and discussed
