1 Desempenho de matriz leiteira mestiça semi-confinada alimentada com dieta à base de farelo de algodão, Helen Ramalho de Farias Pinto, Marcos Roberto Cavalcante, Helen Karla Ramalho de Farias Pinto, João de Deus Nunes Neto, Carlos Antônio Cabral dos Santos, Silvana Silva, Diógenes Montenegro Gomes de Brito Silva, Suelene Alves Marinho Cavalcante
Performance of mixed matrix semi-confined milk fed diet of cottonseed meal. The aim of this study was to evaluate the performances of cattle (crossbred dairy matrices) semi-confined fed diets based on cottonseed meal, soybean meal (zest) of cassava, wheat bran, corn bran, with the bulky material silage and forage cactus in natura and mineral supplement mineral salt. The ex-periment lasted 90 days with 15 days of pre-analysis. The mixture was administered food prepared to feed ruminant animal (lactating mother). The feed formulation (mixture # 4) for the matrices was administered with the aid of micronutrients, having succeeded in intake. The feed composition was held in forage: concentrate ratio of 63:37 with about 20% protein. In the final evaluation of the experiment there was a 20% increase in milk production and improvements in physical performance of the carcasses of the matrices.
2 O Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR) como instrumento de regularização ambiental em assentamentos de reforma agrária, Lucas Abreu Barroso, Guilherme Viana de Alencar
The Rural Environmental Cadastre (CAR) as a tool for environmental regularization in land reform settlements. 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the Land Statute (Law no. 4,504/1964). Enacted at the beginning of the military dictatorship, the Land Statute was the formula found to contain the pressure coming from rural areas which demanded a government policy based on Land Reform. Although designed primarily to distribute land in the Northern Region, after the redemocratization in 1985, peasant movements were present in the five regions of the country, showing that the struggle for land happened nationwide. According to the National Institute for Settlement and Agrarian Reform (INCRA), by 2013, in Brazil 1,288,444 families were settled in the North, Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and South regions, incorporating an area of 88.197.147 ha into the land reform program. The most serious problem resulting from this model of land occupation was uncontrolled deforestation in the settlements with the aim of converting land use to agriculture and livestock activities, which meant a drastic increase in the national rate of deforestation. In this context, the National Institute for Settlement and Agrarian Reform created the Combat and Alternatives Plan to Illegal Deforestation in the Settlements of the Legal Amazon, called Green Settlements Program, which together with the Resolutions of the National Council for the Environment (CONAMA), of 2006 and 2013, established procedures for environmental licensing in agrarian reform settlements, and had a goal to stop deforestation in those areas. With the publication of the newest Forest Code (Law no. 12,651/2012) the Rural Environmental Cadastre (CAR) was created, representing another tool to control deforestation, especially those occurring in the areas of rural settlements. Through this registration, settlers will be able to obtain the regularization of areas consolidated until July 22, 2008, the date of the enactment of Decree no. 6,514, which deals with administrative infractions and sanctions related to the environment and the procedure to ascertain them.
3 Algumas considerações sobre a modelagem hidrológica aplicada à gestão ambiental, Marcela Alves da Silva
Some consideration about the hydrological modeling applied in the environmental management. The watershed modeling is used in the management of water resources in order to understand how various environmental factors present in the watershed that affects the availability and quality of water. The modeling of a watershed is the starting point for studies related to the same environmental dynamics, enabling better management and utilization of natural resources. In this work we use we will briefly discussion about the contributions of hydrological modeling in planning and watershed management in order to demonstrate how this tool has become a great alternative to environmental management, with the aid of geotechnology. Learning the model is first of all learn to observe, to notice details and questioning. The issue of water resources is not fascinating and essential for today doubt, given the increasing need for resource exploitation. The hydrologic modeling emerges as a tool to anticipate events and identify alternatives that lead to the mainte-nance of the productive capacity of the environment.
4 Gestão de Unidades de Conservação: um estudo de caso na Área de Proteção Ambiental da Serra de Baturité-CE, Jaqueline Silva, Maria das Graças Vieira, Gustavo Veras
Management of Protected Areas: a case study in the Environmental Protection Area of the Sierra de Baturité-CE. The aim of this study was to study aims to examine the management of a protected area, located in the State of Ceará. The study is qualitative in nature, the method used was the case study and as a tool for data collection, there was a semi-structured interview with the management of the area. According to information obtained by means of the research concluded that the management of the area is restructuring. Positive results were observed, however, some managerial variables, such as increasing the workforce, need to be reformulated.
5 Precariedade e revisão da licença ambiental, Helena Telino Neves
Environmental licence: precarity and review. The Environmental Licence is a Public Administration's instrument of control over the polluting activities or those that use natural resources. The environmental protection policy must follow the development of the activity, given the unpredictability of environmental risk and its potential negative consequences. The purpose of this paper is to assess conditions in which the Public Administration could review the Environmental Licence before the expiration date. In case of unforeseen circumstances harmful to the environment, the Public Administration should revise the Environmental Licence. In this case, it isn't a Public Administration's convenience, but a duty to change the conditions previously planned. The possibility of review should be made conditional to the demonstration of some factors by the Public Administration, including the inconvenience of the original terms of the Environmental Licence, aiming to protect the holders of the arbitrary acts of the Administration. Publicity and transparency in the review are fundamental to guarantee best environmental management practices and policies to be developed, taking into account the principle of sustainable development, the Best Available Techniques and social inclusion in a Risk Society.
