Description Studia Universitatis Babe?-Bolyai Musica is the music magazine of the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The review was initiated by its redactor-in-chief, Associate Professor Gabriela Coca, in the first semester of the academic year 2007 – 2008. Starting from its very first number the magazine is opened to all the experts of the music field that belong to all the musical institutions of the country and also the foreign institutions as well. The speciality reviewer, which guides the magazine, relies on the reports, by which we try to increase the professional performance of the successive volumes until they reach their maximum of efficiency and also their professional accuracy. They are musical personalities that are recognized both in our country and also internationally as they have a wide professional experience. The target of the magazine is to offer both the international and national musicologists the possibility of publishing their studies in a speciality frame that is organized and it has a highly professional stand. It also suggests its publication in international languages and in addition, it suggests aligning the national musicological publication to a European and an international level. In order to satisfy the requests of a European level, we publish studies in widely circulated international languages as English, German and French. The contents are reviewed by two prestigious persons from outside Babes-Bolyai University, who have to fill up a review standard form. Their suggestions are sent to the author, for further changes. The reviewers are not aware of the authors’ names, as well as the authors don’t have the information regarding reviewers’ names. ( double blind review system).
